 Arable farming.

Groveland's farms nearly 700 acres of arable land. This consists of:

  • Winter barley
  • Winter Wheat
  • Sugar beet 
  • Oil seed rape


Groveland's Biofuel.

A further diversification by Groveland's is the building of a biodiesel processing plant. This uses own grown rape seed to make diesel which is used by all the farm vehicles including tractors and delivery vans. This unit produces no was te as the by-product is used as a fattening stock for the cattle. This plant produces approx. 10,000 l per year from 28 acres of rape seed.
